My favourite's are the latest 'Titanic" and the old production of "Poseidon' with Shelly Winters.


Photos of the Kangaroos and the pink cocky were taken when we were living in Melros near Mandurah W.Aust whilst building new home in Leschenault. As much as I like our wildlife I was so pleased when we moved away from there. The kangaroos do so much damage to gardens and leave their droppings everywhere. The pink cocky is extremely noisy and when the whole clan of them come to visit it is a nightmare, LOL.



Little bit of information on the Leschenault Inlet...Estuary.

Leschenault Estuary is an estuarine lagoon that lies to the north of Bunbury, Western Australia. It had in the past met the Indian Ocean at the Leschenault Inlet - but that has been altered by harbour works for Bunbury, and the creation of THE CUT north of the historical inlet location. The Collie and Preston Rivers are the catchment rivers for the estuary.
Leschenault Estuary foreshore has a recreation ground for use by many of the locals and also tourists which come for holidays in the summer months. Many go swimming (although the water is not deep) boating, water skiing, canoing and windsurfing. There are plenty of fish and crabs to be caught. It is nice to spend a summer evening on the foreshore having a B.B.Q with family and friends...mind you we have to fight a few mozzies off...lol. Okay with this I hope you enjoy the slide-show!

Mainly Country and Western, however all kinds of music is a pleasure to listen too.

I do read, however have no special author. I like mystery novels. Not scientific, I find them too spooky. Ask me an authors name of a book I would be reading and I would honestly have to say 'dunno'

I created this cube from my program Photo Explosion Deluxe, and the photo in it is the Australian Christmas tree..native to our bushland here in Western Australia.

I have a son Karl who is not married yet. Perhaps he will surprise me one day...hopefully that is....My name is Laura but sometimes I use my nickname Lou. The tags which I use are either signed Lou or Laura. I come from a large family of 6 sisters and although we are miles apart we keep in constant contact with each other. When we all get together it is very rowdy with excitement and plenty of things to talk about. I guess you could say I am very family orientated. I am rather shy at times when in crowds of people I do not know or recently met, but once I get to know them, or they get to know me I soon become less shy and more chattery.

I like knowing that I have a wonderful life. Waking in the morning and hearing the sounds of life, i.e. hearing the birds chirping away, the wind passing through the trees and the seeing glow of the morning sun streaming through my office window on a summers day or even on a Winters day which is most welcome. I like knowing that I have wonderful family and friends and they are always there for me if ever I need them. I guess you could say I have an addiction to the computer LOL. I like anything to do with the creation of graphics. I like being a member of the Falcon Senior Citizens club that I belong to and enjoying the many activities it has to offer.I have made many friends there which I treasure dearly. We play carpet bowls on a Monday and Wednesday, it is a very enjoyable game, similar to lawn bowls only a shorter area to bowl to the kitty.

I dislike liars, cheats and abuse of any kind.
I definitely do not like power blackouts.

I hate the vegetable they call swedes and broad beans they are YUK. LOL

Gardening, walking, fishing and photography and the computer. I guess I take too many pictures at times but I like creating PowerPoint Shows from them. I think the computer is very addictive to me. LOL, but I guess I am not the only one....tee hee!
