As far as movies go, I enjoy Sci/Fi, comedy, and suspense/thrillers but not too 'thrilling'. I also like thought provoking movies like "The Day After Tomorrow".

My musical likes are quite wide in scope. There are tunes my Mom listened to that I like and there are tunes my Grandkids and I enjoy together. Please, no heavy rap, heavy jazz or intense opera, some of all three is enjoyable, just not a huge fan is all.
Pretty much anything by Kurt Vonnagaught(sp), and Piers Anthony. The Clan of the Cave Bear series, the Hobbit, that sort of stuff.
I like all colours but, as with the rainbow, placement is everything. It's hard to pick a favourite, hue know. It would be easier to pick my least favourite, highway orange.

Seafood, with lamb a close second.
Chocolate stands alone as a feel good food that should be classified as a staple.

Now that Christmas is (sorry) only about 6 weeks away, I'll be canvassing for info. on what the grandchildren are into nowadays that doesn't have anything to do with a computer, cell phone, or any other expensive electronic. Does anyone think I'll have ANY info. by the end of the week? LOL

I live with my cat in a basement suite. I have 3 kids who have blessed me with 9 grandchildren, most of which live to far away to see very often. In the winter I hibernate and in the summer I garden.
Stimulating conversation, a warm or cool day at the beach or in the woods, horse riding, collecting herbs, eating chocolate, laughing, watching my grandchildren play and when I can I join in on the fun.
Assuming people, big corporate greed, very hot and very cold days anywhere. Waiting in long line-ups for any reason, of course I do but I just don't like it. Anchovies and boiled parsnips.
People watching, collecting herbs and creating different tea blends, casting astrological charts, archiving useful and miscellaneous information, and coming to the 'Hill' to see with amazement what can be done on a web page. :)
