I watch many movies as I review them for several sources. I just watched "Saw VI" and "Surrogates" both very good movies. I watch all kinds of movies thrillers and comedy. I say "Avatar" during Christmas vacation with my Dad in Atlanta. I just watched "Precious" and that was a very intense movie not for the faint at heart. She did a very good performance. And the next one on my list is "The Hurt Locker", which I've heard is very good also.

Love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime and never let go till we're gone. TITANIC

I love all music. As a born singer I listen to it all, ah well, no Rap and no Hard Rock, or what I call "Head Banging" music. I like Sir Elton John, Celine Dion and Amy Grant. Eric Clapton. Of course, The Beatles. Sir John Lennon the best. And Elvis Presley and too many others to count. Peggy Lee, Bobby Venton and the list goes on.

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. (John Lennon)

When I think about rain, I think about singing. When I think about singing, it's a heavenly tune. When I think about heaven, then I think about angels. When I think about angels, I think about you.
I don't want to lose this feeling. If I could choose a place to die, it would be in your arms.Eric Clapton

James Patterson is my passion now. Also Robin Cook, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz. I love to read. Have been reading more lately. Got a Kindle for my birthday and have already got many books on there to read, am into the Maximillian series with the flying children, from the first two books he wrote "The Lake House" and "When the Wind Blows, wonderful books. Just great. And the Kindle isn't too bad either.

He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever. (Chinese Proverb)

Blue and I lean towards the mauves and pinks abit. All the colors of the rainbow, my dad said I used to make him drive me to the end to see where the colors started.

But I think blue has always been my favorite.

Seafood and Italian. Steak, shrimp scampi is my fav, peanut butter fudge, homemade soups, I love to make my own soups. I make my own manicotti, speghetti, etc., sauces. I usually make enough sauce to feed an army, so I freeze it and use it throughout the next 3-4 months.

A nice picnic on the beach with a good book.

I'm baaaack!!! Thanks so much to all my friends for your patience while I got new internet service installed. And a special thanks to Connie for coming here & letting everyone know I was gone

Trama4me, my newest and dearest friend, can contact me to see if I want to be found!!!

This is the count down for Trama4me to graduate from nursing school. She will graduate from school in May and get pinned then. I am so proud of her. She is the greatest. Then I am taking her on a cruise. So all of you who may or may not be with us, let us not forget to celebrate this special day. Just go to her site and ring all the bells for her on this day. She has worked so hard for this. Trust me, all nighters have been a part of her past year or so.

To all my Angels here on The Hill, I just don't know what I would have done without you during these past few months after losing my husband, you have all been here to support and pray with me and I will never be able to tell you all how much you are appreciated. I love each and every one of you. And I thank you all so very much. God bless each of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to help me get through this difficult time. Once again, God Bless you all.
This past week I have been undergoing all the Rabies Vaccines as a neighbor brought a feral cat home from the woods and never took her to the vet. This cat was very aggressive and bite me twice. Once they knew of the bites they took the cat and dropped it off in another neighborhood instead of letting the Animal Control Dept. hold onto it for the 10 day period so that they could be sure it did not have rabies. So now I have to go through all the shots. I should be done with them by the middle of them in April.

I'm a recently retired widow living in Florida. I am 55 yrs. old, as of September 9, 2010.
I have 2 children, 1 boy, Michael, was in the military (he signed up after he graduated when he was 16) now living in Tennessee with his lovely wife and two of my grandchildren, and 1 girl Melanie, a nurse who just moved from New Haven Ct. to Maine. And she has 2 more of my grandchildren 1 boy and 1 girl. They are simply beautiful, but then aren't they all.
I'm a singer with some (SOME) professional training and have recorded with some well known artists back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. And met quite a few of the other singers and writers from that period of time. Was a great time to be into music. Now I just sit at home and relax, work part-time at a nursing home as a CNA and read books to the kids at the library on some weekends with some other ladies from my church.

I sing for myself. (In the shower) LOL I'm a very upbeat and positive person and try to convey this in my conversations.(Alittle OCD going on w/me as I must clean everything imediately) I tend to be trusting to a fault which causes me problems at times. Like they say you can't take it with you and I truly believe in what goes around comes around.

My family, children, grandchildren, and of course, my parents, my friends, they are the family that I have made and found on my own. The really special ones. And lots of fun, fun, fun in the sunshine. I love to laugh and laughter is the best medicine whether you need it or not. Just laugh. People will wonder what you are up to. LOL I love the sun in the morning and the smell of the day after a nice rain shower. I like it when walking through a shopping store and someone I've never met smiles at me for no other reason than to be nice. And I smile back. I love that feel good feeling I get when a prayer gets answered and I was just thinking about that person and their needs. It is just so awesome.

Anything negative. Whether it be people or politicians. Enough said there. Untrustworthy people. Persons who treat animals or people badly.

Singing in the shower is good these days with my new CD player that can get wet and still play. Raising my 4 cats. (All rescues) Just got a new all black kitten, Blue Satin Onyx. He is just so precious and a year old now. AH YEAH, and taking my cats out for their daily exercise. So now I have 2 that are 3 years old and 1 that is 2 years old and the baby that just turned a year old in July. And he still thinks he's a baby. Still coddles. And crys like a real baby. They think they are dogs. And they play fetch, yeah, I have fetch kitties. Reading, I love to read, mostly mysteries and history books. Playing in my garden. Taking online courses, seems there is always something from the local colleges that interest me. I seem to learn something new everyday. :0)Learning how to work and how many things can be done with this new Kindle, it is just amazing what you can do with it and with the WiFi your books just come out of the air. Simply amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone who does alot of reading and if you get a book that you really aren't interested in you can always return it within 3 days back to the Amazon store. Now where can you do that with a book? It just one of my lastest toys so I'm in love and I'll get over it. Be patient with me. And I'm learning to cook. Real food, that you can eat. I no longer have to put it down the disposal. Hahaha. I just got so tired of eating out and had to learn to cook for myself. Not to bad if I say so myself and besides I'm feeding my neighbors as well.
