Classical and Classic Rock, which is after all the sound track of my youth. Nothing like a "blast from the past" to bring back the memories. Photobucket

I'll read anything that can catch and hold my interest. I do enjoy the occasional reading binge when that's nearly all I do for days on end. I do not re-read books and can become impatient with "series" books when they repeat too much information from the previous book. I guess that means my memory is still functioning.

Changes often. I love to make soups in the fall and winter, and a chilled summer soup every once in a while. Photobucket Photobucket
Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good. -Alice May Brock, author (b. 1941)

I need to give this one some thought. Not that I don't know myself very well, just need to decide if there is anything further I want to share.

I love cats because I love my home
and after a while they become it's
invisible soul. . .

Any number of things, but a list would make me sound much more difficult than I really am.

I enjoy reading, painting, cross-stitch, gardening, and the very occasional crafty thing.

Hello my dear friend, I just got through reading your blog of, the golden ring. What a sweet and precious story. I could feel the tenderness of it. While I read it was listening to the song, In the Arms of An Angel and it fit so well. I hope that doesn't sound, sappy but some things just touch a person's heart and that was one of them.

I hope you are having a good Saturday, even though we are having one of our rainy overcast days here in the great Pacific Northwest.
