For some of us Holy Week is busier with more church services. Good Friday we went to an ecumenical service at our local Episcopal church at 12 noon. The night before we saw a good friend in church and he said if you want to experience what church should be try it. We had pastors from the Mennonite and United Church of Christ, First United Presbytarian, Maygar United Church of Christ (Hungarian) then 2 more Church of Christ then Asbury United Methodist then First United Methodist and finally Washington Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It was one of the nicest services I have ever attended and we were from all walks of life different races and all different beliefs but what a nice service for Good Friday. Our pastor usually takes part but his associate is badly crippled now so he is alone and had stations of the cross at noon.
Hello there my friend, just hopping by to wish you a Blessed Easter week-end. They are calling for rain for us Easter Sunday. Whatever your weather I hope you have a Blessed Easter...
