NOTH Layouts

Thanks Evie for the good news too.  At least he's going back to work for a while.  That would be good.  We can just pray together that it's for long term.

Thanks for the nice comment on my page.  It's sure makes it nice to just use the layouts here.  It use to take so long to change my page, but not any more.

We are having such nice warm weather here in Ohio.  I know it's going to get cold again it always does but I'll take what I can get.

You have a great week end.

Connie

Hi Connie  Happy to hear that your sister is OK.  Just thought I would tell you, that Wally got called to work on Wednesday morning.  I don't think there will be anything for him next week though.  They will just call him as he is needed. :o( ...better than nothing. I love the background on your page.   Have a nice weekend.  Hugs Evie

Hi Evie,

Thanks for stopping by, I have to admit, that I don't get on the computer much anymore.........

My puppy's name is Tai Chi, he is a registered Pekingese........and the smartest little bugger......house broken already, sits, fitches, and speaks...........

Suppose to get a bit of winter weather again, but can't complain, its been a very mild winter and we have been into the 60'a already........but if it stays cold , I will complain, not that it will do me any good...........I am just trying to keep busy, , just so I don't have to think of Paul..........it will be a year on the 6th of April..........but, I am still doing the one day at a time thing........Hope all is well with you.........Love, Verla

Hi Charlene

I see your all ready for Easter already. :o)  I haven't been doing a whole lot here on the Hill...still sharing the computer.   My son finally got a job with Transit, but hubby is still sitting home.  The employment rate went up again last month in our area, so we just take one day at a time, and hope that things change pretty soon.  I guess your still looking for work??...  Wishing you a good week.  Hugs Evie

GreatDay.gif picture by robertslasv4Good afternoon Evie,
Please forgive me for being so slow at getting back to you. I have not been to the hill in awhile. I by passed St Patty's day for a reason. I lost my mom last year on that day and I was really bummed out so went straight to Easter. Don't worry I am okay now but it was just a reminder is all. Yes I am still looking for work and jobs are getting harder and harder in Las Vegas to come bye. Our unemployment rate went from 13% to 13.8 the 1st of March and since then it has gotten even worse. 100 more people lost their jobs this morning and looks like there are going to be more. The Mayor wanted to fire everyone and rehire at a cheaper rate but found out that it wasn't legal to do so he plans a major layoff trying to balance his buget. Then it's the Counties turn and then the start trimming at the State Capitol and Governer's panel. Sure isn't the change everyone voted for..... I don't seen any way out of this mess our new officials have made of this country. I don't know how much longer my landloard is going to be nice and work with me on my rent. So far he just takes what I have and keeps adding to the total which for me is starting to look like our countries national debt. I am so afraid of being out on the street my friend.
Love and hugs
Charlene
