I was born in Australia - Colac in fact 2 hours from Melbourne but grew up in Swan Marsh. A little place off the beaten track that did not even have a Pub. It did have a school and a church! In all my travels have not seen a country that can beat Australia but do love U.K.
Now that I am retired I do volunteer dog walking for the local council for those who can not walk their dogs. It is great exercise and love being with dogs.
Did love travel when I was younger and spent 5 years overseas. Travelling through USA ( on Greyhound buses for 6 weeks travelling all over), touched on Canada then flew to #$%@%$ via Iceland. After 3 years in London and travelling all around Europe I then worked in Wiesbaden Germany for the USA Airforce (during the Vietnam war) Worked with so many friends from all different countries there. I was in the Grand Canyon when they landed on the moon.
I have 3 g/nieces and 2 g/nephews thanks to my sister. I have 2 sisters. I was never interested in having children myself.
I have 2 pets that I adore. Gavin (as my picture) and Penne my cat. Since living here I have had 2 pre loved cats and one I saved and one pre loved dog.
I do love Australia.
