Ladyhawke is my all time favorite; watch it at least once a year. As for TV, Coronation Street is my favorite, with Grey's Anatomy and Criminal Minds in there too. Not too fond of going to the theatre to watch a movie, but will rent the new releases from our local Video store on cheap night ($1.00).

Always had all kinds of music in the house when I was a kid. Of course '50's stuff is still great. I have discovered Il Divo and Lonestar - they are wonderful.

David Balducci has taken over the top spot among my favorite authors, with James Patterson coming in second. I enjoy the Janet Evanovich books as well. Love the mysteries. I am awaiting eye surgery so have taken to listening to audio books from our public library. Terrific!

Love all shades of purple, plus bright royal blue and that wonderful shade of bluish red.

Just about anything I don't have to cook is fine with me, but I try to stay as close to Weight Watchers as possible. Have been known to fall off the WW wagon with a thud. Love a good barbequed steak, but then I enjoy a hot dog done on the BBQ as well. Have a new favorite salad I make which I will share if you ask me.

Well, my California trip is out, so I am going to take myself off twice a year to a resort/spa about 1 hour from my place. Just got back from my first visit May 21st. It was super great, but not something hubby would enjoy.

I am a retired elementary school secretary, a career I enjoyed for 29 years. Married for 50 years in November, 2008 to the love of my life, my biker dude (and they said it wouldn't last). Enjoy getting together with my family, which consists of 3 grown children, and 8 grandkids among them. I volunteer in an elementary school library whenever she needs me. Just can't stay away from those wonderful kids.

I like warm Spring days, the smell of lilacs, sweet peas, cotton sheets dried outside, my favorite rose Mr. Lincoln and the sound of light rain on the patio roof. Love to listen to audio books in the car when I am driving. I love my church and have been with those special people since 1978. I appreciate making new friends at this time in my life, but have had a best friend since 1948. Wow!

Don't like it when the temperature goes over 90. Don't like sushi, cold pizza and more than 3 days of rain in a row. Don't like dishonest or smug people, horror movies and cursing. I am anal when people make spelling mistakes, i.e. 'alot'. Nope, it's 2 words people. A lot of money, etc.

Most recent passion is quilting. Finished my first quilt and gave it to one of my grandgirls for graduation in June, 2008. Gave the 2nd one for another grandgirl at Christmas. Just finished the 3rd as a gift for my sister in June. I have enough cotton fabric stashed that I will have to live to be 112 years old to make it all into quilts. Love to read a good mystery, crochet and knit. Enjoy gardening (mostly flowers), but a tomato or 2 usually finds its way in there as well.
