Favorite movies would have to be Clint Eastwood movies, loved Tom Hanks in The Golden Mile, Ghost and like the USA TV series we get here like Law & Order, Criminal Intent SVU and quite a few others I can't remember at the moment.

I like all the golden oldies, a favourite piece of mine is a song called Silver Bells (not the xmas one) it is played by The Novelty Orchestra with Harry Robbins on the xylophone. I was lucky to pick up a C.D. through a web site.(released in 1934). I like John Lennon, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan and songs that have meanings to them.

Don't do a lot of reading , the occasional magazine and reading things on the net. Used to read a lot (even the labels on cereal boxes and packaged food) If someone reccomends a good book I might read it, but my vision is not as good as it was & I often get migraines.

I like all colours in purple, burgundy shades, creams & browns. Classic black that goes with anything.Well made stretch jeans that look more like slacks, well fitting. Like to mix and match colours from clothes, shoes and bags. My husband always likes me dressed in red, matches my hair.

Roast Lamb & vegies have to be on top of the list Homemade soup, salads especially caesear salad, sponge cakes with fresh cream. Rhubarb crumble with fresh cream or custard. Chocolates and fudge (the more the better) Don't mind the occasional Macs.. Home made chicken schnitzel with lemon juice & salad. Homemade frittata's.

Finally catching up with messages, comments etc. have learned a lot of things since joining NOTH very enjoyable. Only used a computer for accounting purposes before, so this was a challenge, Very different from spreadsheets & databases. Find any excuse to be at the computer, my husband sticks his head in the door & says are you still mucking around with that thing. Been trying to get him to use my laptop but it's a no go zone..

Retired Administration Officer/Accountant for a Group Mediacal Practice for almost 20 years, moved on to another job, same title for The Illawarra Anaesthetic Services, providing services to The Illawarra Area Health Service covering both Private & Public hospitals in the Illawarra. I had to retire as I was diagnosed with a terminal disease, I have outlived my use by date by a number of years. Many more to come I hope, but with the technology aailable now things aren't to bad. I often have my bad times and may spend weeks in bed, but I always find the strenght to keep going. I have been happily married to the same wonderful man for 43 Years, he is now my carer. Had to resign from work to take care of me as I was bedridden for a number of years and he became Mister mum. We have 3 grown sons, 4 granddaughters & 1 grandson. Eldest 13, youngest 14months. Eldest son has his own business, mortgage broker/financial planner, next son is Renumeration Analyst for Santos mining (one of our biggest mining groups, youngest is Executive Chef at The Illawarra Turf Club.

Love knitting , crocheting, craft work of any kind, must have something to do all the time. I do Voluntary work for our local Church, working in their Op Shop every 2nd Wednesday & the occasional fill in for anyone who can't make it on their day. Also I belong to The Guardian Angel Society of World Vision. I knit & crochet baby & childrens clothes, from matinee jackets, bonnets, bootees to childrens pullovers & beanies, with my left over wool I crochet baby blankets and cot blankets. Very rewarding. I LOVE handbags and shoes galore, running out of space as to where to store them even though we have a 3 bedroom house and only 2 people live in it.

People who use foul language is the worst I could think of, those who think they know it all and are would be if they could be. Bad drivers and those who do not use their blinkers whilst driving on the freeway. Ladies smoking whilst walking down the street and also ladies drinking the largest size beer they can get. All things in moderation I say. On the food side I think tripe, liver & brains are the worst things anyone could be expected to eat.

Knitting, crocheting, craft work, one of my favorites is knittiing lace coat-hangers and crocheting doylies. Always looking on the web to find new patterns. Have made quite a few to add to Xmas presents. I love nice homemade things and I feel people appreciate that you go to the trouble to make something personal for them.

Thank you for the friend invite.

I was away for a few days, @ a Ladies Of Faith Conference.

It was quiet a trip, however God blessed us.

We had one flat tire on the way there & 2 blowouts besides that.

So, we got there a bit later then planned.......

However, still early enough that we could enjoy our hotel stay @

Marriots Hotel & went to the conference the following day.

The conference was about attitudes: we all have them: L.O.L.

It was fun & lighthearted & a true blessing.

Enjoy your day, may it be filled with God's Blessings,

Cyndi

I checked your link out, via UR blog & it was a dead link.

Love your choice of colors.

Ironically, we share some of the same friends via NOTH.

Have a wonderful day!!

Cyndi
