I am enjoying this site, people are so friendly.
I live in the town of Hazelton which is in the Northwest Coast of British Columbia,Canada
Like all parts of the world we have beautiful scenery, gigantic mountains, lots of rivers & lakes. I am about 160 miles from the Pacific Ocean
where the city of Prince Rupert is situated

I am a Gitxsan Elder & Scottish descent.Gitxsan is my Nation & it means the people from the River of Mists.My ancestry on my grand-father's side is Irish & English. my great grandfather was born in Carrick-on Shannon in Leitrim, Ireland in 1842
I have four sons, two are married, my only daughter is deceased in 1994. I have 8 grand-children & 8 greats ( 2 sets of twins) so I've been blessed. I am retired but wonder about what it means to retire, I'm just as busy as ever. That's okay because it keeps my mind & body active. I worked as a Counselor for 16 years at a Healing Centre for Addictions. I am a Lay Reader & Rector's Warden for our Church. I'm also on our Band Council going on my 3rd term. I have a 6 year old doggy named Teddy. He is Poodle & Maltese & some people call him a " Malti-Poo" Even though I keep busy I love my quiet time,to relax & reflect on the day.
