OLDER COUNTRY AND 60'S, 70'S, 80'S OLDIES.

PURPLE - NOTHING MAKES ME HAPPIER THAN PURPLE FLOWERS. PURPLE ANYTHING IS PLEASING TO ME BUT PURPLE FLOWERS ARE ESPECIALLY WONDERFUL.

I LOVE A GOOD STEAK, BAKED POTATO AND CRISP, COLD SALAD. A GOOD POTATO SOUP IS WONDERFUL ALSO.

I'm originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina but haven't lived there since I was 11. Lived in Wilmington, NC for a year and then moved to Jacksonville, FL where I lived until 1995 at which time my husband and I took off for "Joan and Jim's Great Adventure" and moved to Tallahassee, FL for a few years and the Kentucky area for a few years before ending up outside of Columbia, SC.

I don't like fake "Christians" who go to church every time the doors are open but who have absolutely no love in their hearts for their fellow human beings. The ones who are holier-than-thou need to just pass me up because I don't want to deal with that. Love and tolerance is what Jesus preached and that's what I believe in.
