MOVIES
A super DVD once or twice a month is something to look forward to! But sometimes that can turn out to be a real downer; anticipation can be overrated! But then a great DVD comes along now and then! Then I'm a happy camper!
My recent favorite movies are: The Namesake and Sweet Land.






MUSIC
I enjoy Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Pink Martini, and Elvis. And for country western I like Patsy Cline. I also enjoy Broadway musicals. My brother is a classical music aficionado and I've grown to appreciate some classical composers too.

BOOKS
I love to read a real good mystery or a fascinating biography!
Favorite mystery writer is Elizaneth George.
Favorite book that I've read recently is "A Thousand Spendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. It is so wonderful!

My brother and I were born in Massachusetts many, many years ago to wonderful parents, (now deceased) and still very much missed. Our family then moved to Maine in 1953...where my Dad was born. And my brother and I are still here...Maniacs!

WHAT I LIKE
I LOVE Dancing With The Stars! Other TV shows that I enjoy are Survivor, The Amazing Race, Ugly Betty, Lost and Glee.
On a higher level there are some wonderful programs on PBS. My favorites being Masterpiece Theatre, Mystery, American Experience. They also have many good documentaries
Also love the Red Sox! Hardly an expert on the game of baseball! But still enjoy listening to them on the radio;too confusing to watch on television!

Just dropping in to let you know I'm

for warmer weather AND SUNSHINE!

Finally over the colds and back in the swing of things.  We were all sick but much better now.  Thank you for the get well wishes and for the nice graphic.  Cheered me up.
