I live in the Mid-Hudson Valley in NY, USA. Worked as a nurse's aid for a few years, then an LPN for 17 yrs. or so. I used to have my own motorcycle, and I drove a street stock at the local race track for a few years as the "OutLaw Lady".
I have a long medical history, am now disabled, and have had to give up most of my activities. My get up and go, got up and went! But hey! I still have my intellect intact - for the most part anyway. :-)
Been married for 23 years, no children. Hubby has a daughter and 3 grandchildren from his first marriage. Grandson is in the ARMY. Granddaughters both big into soccer.
Concerned about Global Warming, & species extinction.

Like watching DVDs or TV: the SYFY channel Stargate, Battlestar Gallactica, Eureka, Ghost Hunters,etc. CNN, NCIS, CSI, Nat Geo, Discovery, and the History Channel.
like NOVA, Universe, etc.
Animals tame or wild! Especially my Shih Tzu, 3 cats, and cocktiel.
My daylily gardens.
Astronomy. The Space program worldwide.
I like to read Nat Geo. or Discover Mags with breakfast, and a sci-fi novel at bedtime.
