I'm really not a Movie Buff but will go see the good ones a couple of times a year. I like Michael Moore Documentaries. Don't like action movies at all.

This 3 Masted steel ship was built in 1935, almost identical, but longer, to the original built in 1882 and which is berthed in Mystic, Conn. The original was re-named Joseph Conrad (long interesting story - check the website)and although a museum piece, it is used for sail training the youth of today. As a 16 year old, my Dad trained on the first Georg Stage (Joseph Conrad) for 5 months. I still have his pencil written log of that adventure.(I just checked their website and today the boys write their daily log on the PC - it's in Danish.) After that, Dad went into the Danish Merchant Marine and at 27 received his Captain's papers. He always remembered that ship with a great fondness.
This Georg Stage 2 is 177 feet long and is the smallest sailing Fullrigger in the world today.

I like most music. Music is the key word here. (Not Rap, Heavy Metal and other weird sounds which isn't, at least to my way of thinking). But otherwise all the gendres. Have a collection of classical on records & cassettes - (what are they? :o) I never really liked Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett etc - before my time, but I was an Elvis fan from when he was in his 30ties - a more mature voice. I only 'discovered' the late Israel Kamakawiwo'ole in the last year and love his Hawaiian music. Listen to him on my NOTH player. Other favourite music is by Il Divo, Ernesto Cortazar, Sweet People and Gospel by the Gaithers and Signature Sound. I also like Elvis' gospel music. Interestingly, you don't have to be a Christian to like gospel music.:o) I lost my faith when I started thinking for myself but I did not lose the love of the music which is really quite wonderfully melodious and/or toe-tapping. What's not to like about that?!:o) Late at night I will sit with a nightcap and listen to this whole play-list because they are all favourites. But there are many, many more.
As a BTW, I have sung Alto in a couple of choirs over the years. Taught myself to read music as a child, playing the Piano, Guitar and a Lowry organ. Yes, I do like music but I as far as performing it, I remained a neophyte.

I was always an avid reader and have quite a library, including some classics and many reference books. However, after I got my first PC, I just manage to read the morning paper. I have many computer manuals on the shelf as well.

Blue is my favourite clothes colour. However, who can walk in a flower garden and not love every colour of the spectrum. I certainly do. I enjoyed fine tuning my profile page's hues with 'Color Cop'.

Here are some scenes from my Beautiful Province of British Columbia. None of the photos in this slide show, or anywhere on the page, were taken by myself.

Congrats from Nancy

I like comfort foods. A medium rare steak is also a favourite. I enjoy all ethnic dishes with few exceptions. Always nice to try something different.

Welcome to my Ocean themed page. I chose this theme because I am a little nostalgic for my childhood. I come from a seafaring family from the little Danish island of Fanø in the North Sea across from England. The Sonnichsen's and the Øhle's. From the early 1800's, my forefathers built their own sailing ships and sailed around the world in their windjammers, trading goods. As a child I listened to my (great)+ grandparents' stories of "far away places with strange sounding names", of storms with huge waves, sailing around the dreaded Cape Horn; of ships & men lost at sea far from home; of sailing through ice near Antarctica; of beautiful tropical places; of strange creatures, fish, whales and birds. I was allowed to handle big conches from the South Pacific and silk shawls, Porcelain dishes and many other keepsakes from the far East, the Americas, Australia, New Zealand. They published books depicting their adventures which I have on my bookshelf. They were very proud of their profession and passed the love of the ships and the sea down to this little child. Hope you will enjoy my Ocean page.

I'm friendly and outgoing (IMO:o), but I also like my own company and space. I don't need very much entertainment - I make my own. Proud Canadian - and proud Dane, I was born in Denmark in 1940 and emigrated to Montreal at 13 with my family. Got married at 23, had one daughter, now 44, who gave me a grandson, now 22. In Montreal, I worked at the H.O. of the Can.Nat.Railways for almost 18 years. In 1974, being tired of the cold snowy winters and hot humid summers, the whole family, including my sister, moved to West Vancouver, and later to White Rock, close to the US border. Back to living by the ocean, yeah! It rains quite a bit here on the coast but you don't have to shovel water, the grass is green year round and the scenery is beautiful. Having been a Customer Service Manager for 20 of my 22 years with the Insurance Corp of BC, I took early retirement at 56 and downsized to Langley, a large rural suburb in the Fraser Valley. Divorced in 1982, I'm now enjoying my leisure time with my second and last sweetheart for many years, his own great family and, of course, my cute Bichon - Bobby. He's my Baby now.

Interesting and friendly people with a good sense of humour.
Googling Earth, Stumbling the Net, watching documentaries, reading to learn new PC skills and graphics in PSP.
I like nature - snow-capped mountains and ocean beaches, Waterfalls, all wildlife and pets, and flower gardens.
TV shows: 60 mins. 48 hrs Mystery. Nature, Cooking and Travel shows and documentaries. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,Two and a Half Men, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol and the Bachelor(ette). That is when my hubby will give up the remote!

Congrats from Tutte

Action Movies. Violence. Obscenity.
Flying.
Exercise.
Housework - it interferes with my PC time :o) However, being a kind of neat freak (due to my dear, sweet and organized Mom's influence) my house is always clean and tidy, though I have to admit not quite up to her par in my old age.:o)

My PC - first and foremost.
Gardening.
