Not really into movies, but one that I always watch the re-runs of is: Harry Potter films

Anything by Johnny Cash or Roy Orbison. I even like Abba, but that's really is showing my age.
I am listening to Michael Jackson again and loving all the songs.

All of the Harry Potter series.
The 5 novels of the 'Earth Children' series by Jean Auel. I have re read them all.

Teal blue because my beautiful female South American Quaker Parrot is that colour.
Navy blue, maroon, any Autumn colour.

Anything I am not allowed to eat. I have Type 2 diabetes so my diet is a bit restrictive.
I just love CHOCOLATE, and that's a No No.

We are HOME. We had 1 week at Cania Gorge with the daughter and family and we were off on our 3 month 'Grey Nomad' trip.
We stayed in Lightning Ridge (just over the New South Wales border) the black opal capital of Australia for 2 weeks. We drove out to Grawin and collected loads of common opal (opal with little or no colour) and a little bit of precious opal (with colour).
Continued on to White Cliffs, another opal mining town in far western New South Wales, 300 ks as the crow flys from Broken Hill, and stayed there for 7 weeks. The town has only a post office, general store/cafe and a pub, and a couple of opal stores. Only 150 residents and probably another 150 with the 'weekend' opal miners and tourists. We found heaps of opal there. I collected 12 small bottles of coloured opal chips which I am making mosaic pictures from. John got seam crystal opal and a lot of small opals.
It was a wonderful trip. Didn't do anything we intended to, but that's what a trip is all about.
I have been spending every spare moment creating opal pendants and have already sold 2, and I haven't advertised yet.

I have been married for 44 years and have 1 son and 2 daughters, and 6 grandchildren. Beau 18, Ben 17, Nathan 14, Tom and Amber nearly 14 and Alex 11.
My pet is 'Tui', a female South American Quaker Parrot. She loves to lie upside down in my right hand while I scratch and tickle her with my left. She then goes to sleep, just lying there.

My husband and I love to trip around Australia in our Ford Explorer 4WD towing our 16ft caravan. Each year we spend 2 to 3 months just touring about collecting rocks, fossicking for sapphires, garnets, zircons and opals, and hunting for 110 to 120 million year old fish and reptillian fossils.
I am an avid photographer. Favourite subjects are sunsets, sunrises, rock formations and anything in it's natural enviroment.

Smokers, drunk behaviour, disrespectful people, know-it-alls, unkind behaviour towards humans or animals.

Computer - computer - computer. Teaching oldies how to use their computers. Photography. Download photos and make magazines of all our trips. Write stories. Read, knit, tapestry now my cataracts are fixed
