No real favorite -- action, romance, comedy

I love all types of music--right now I'm listening to a local Dallas artist, Sarah Jaffe! Thrice, 5 for Fighting, Nickelback, Hinder, as well as classic artists Tim McGraw, JMM, Queen, Carly Simon....I really decide on the song that inspire me or reflect my current mood.

FROM THE SHADOWS is my first novel in print although not the first one I wrote. My other favorite authors are Marilyn Pappano, who also writes as Rachel Butler, Susan Shay, JK Rowling & Jodi Picoult.

I love color! All kinds--my favorite are jewel tones, but if I had to pick just one--Burnt Orange followed closely by red.

Lobster! But having been raised on German & Tex-Mex, I will eat almost anything my dear husband chooses to cook. Yes, I married a fantastic cook!

Racing is over for me until March & I had a great season. My final standing came down to the last race. The week before, I had beat my closest competitor & was leading him by 4 points! Saturday night's race was filled with crashes & racing the tracks as well as the other 17 cars. When the checkered flag fell, I finished 8th & 2 cars ahead of my friend. He wasn't happy to have lost to me, a woman, by a mere 6 points! I am proud to have ended 4th out of the top 20.

I love being a romance writer & having adventures that I spin into stories. Happily married to my very own hero, we are enjoying an empty nest, unless you count our 4 huge dogs, 4 horses, 3 cows with calves, 2 cats, chickens & guineas. My other passion is dirt track racing at our local track. As soon as racing season is over in September, I'll be looking for that Caribbean beach & scuba diving!! I've recently taken up belly dancing because I've always wanted to learn. It is a great way to exercise but I've made some great friends.
