I love John Lennon, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Santana, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, and all 70 rock. I enjoy Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, swing,soft rock, blues, country and classical. The only music I don't enjoy is RAP.

MY FAVORITE COLOR
I love to look at the color periwinkle. I even like the way the word sounds! When it comes to color to live with, I choose earthtones...terra cotta, rust, beiges and greens. I find those colors soothing. The only color I dislike is pink. Reminds me of Pepto Bismol!

Thanks for stopping by my page. Life has thrown me many obstacles in the past few months. Through prayer I have gotten through it. I have been enjoying my pottery classes and they come to an end next week. My Thanksgiving wasn't exactly the way I would have liked it, that is, spending it with my family, but my dear friend Kaleikat saw to it that it was an enjoyable day anyway. Christmas is upon us, and I wish all of you a blessed and happy celebration and a new year of inner peace and happiness.
ABOUT ME
Sometimes I come across as a little ditzy, but my friends just say that it is the artist in me. I don't fit into the norm. I have a hard time fitting in the world's schedule. I like doing things in my own time frame which calls for alot of comprises on my part in order to keep a job. My ideal dream would be to do some kind of art work at home. I went from the bustling city of New York in my younger years to living on a mountain in Virginia now. I love the quiet solitude, and the atmosphere certainly is condusive to creativity.
I love to do anything creative that spurs me at the moment. Sometimes it is writing, sometimes just doing some computer/photography graphics, or sometimes a serious oil painting. I am not happy unless I am creating. I am a true romanticist, and optomist. I still love daydreaming.
Sooooo...I chose to be an art teacher in an elementary school. It's really fun and I enjoy being around the young children who are full of energy and welcome learning. I enjoy nature. I love animals and I have two cats, Casey and Willow and a dog named Tucker. I love taking photos and always have a camera with me at all times.

WHAT I LIKE
The smell of the ocean breeze, lazy summer days, solitude, swinging on the porch swing and looking at nature, animals, the smell of honeysuckle and gardenias, October skies and the leaves changing in fall, listening to music, dancing, playing with my grandkids, watching football games on Sunday afternoons, good home cooked meals, staying up late.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
Lies or deceitfulness, ignorance, closed minded people, predjudice, abusive people, rules that make no sense, loss of our freedoms, paying too much for food, rap music, liver, brussel sprouts and beets, snakes, getting up early.
