I love mysteries, character studies and period pieces (kudos to Masterpiece Theatre). Give me a British, Australian or other foreign movie over American ones (they're real, they're clever, they don't need beautiful actors and they're more unpredictable). My favorite series: Foyle's War (if you love WWII and mysteries, you'll adore these), Mad Men, Damages. Am hooked on Law & Order. And when American Idol is on, don't bother to get in touch with me--I'm fixated!

I love it all country, rock, folk, even classical...just about anything but not rap and really hard rock. Yummy--John Denver singing alongside Placido Domingo. The recent KCET Yanni's voices. The three tenors. Check out public television's Great Performances--David Foster (you ask who he is? I didn't know either but he's a fabulous entertainer/songwriter), Josh Groban and others.
