There are quite a few films that I like apart from the SF genre. I like good adventure stories, especially those that take place in nature, in the wild.

I know what I like when I hear it. :-)

Science Fiction books such as by Arthur C Clarke, Ben Bova, Stephen Baxter, Stephen Lawhead etc.
Books on spirituality such as by Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Guy Finley.
Books on sciences, especially astronomy,neural sciences etc.
Books on philosophy, nature and so on.
MY FAVORITE COLOR
My favourite colour is yellow. However,when I am in nature I am often overawed by its beauty and the multitudes of colours I can see in flowers, trees, shrubs, rocks, the sky; in fact it is hard to determine just one favourite colour.
No particular favourites spring to mind due to my medical condition but I do like spicy food.

ABOUT ME
I have worked and lived in The Netherlands, England, Wales and now live in Australia. I have visited other countries such as Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Canada (Halifax),New York,and the West Indies. Dutch is my mother tongue but I now prefer English. I also have a reasonable command of German in which I have qualifications but have not maintained it well.
I have spent time in the Dutch Army, RAAF as an Officer, sales, training, helping unemployed finding work, management, counselling as my main past activities.
I am now retired and live with my wife in the foothills of the Dandenongs, east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We have a daughter and three grandchildren.
WHAT I LIKE
I like people to be tolerant towards each other.
I like the whole world to be in a state of enduring peace.
I like drivers to be better behaved on the road.
I like all people in this world to develop an understanding in relation to who we really are and why we are on this earth.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
I don't like politicians pulling each other down.
I don't like the scourges of drug abuse and violence.
I don't like war of any kind.
