Todays movies rely too heavily on special effects and less on a good story and real talent... I tend to pay close attention to detail, so I enjoy the old black/white movies with the glamour and beautiful old homes etc.

I really appreciate the warm welcome extended to me as the 'new kid on the block' I hope to meet many of you for a chat along the way.

I am originally from Northern Maine, but moved to Ct. in 1964. We were transferred to N.Y. in 1970 and then to Pa. in 1984 where we owned and operated a restaurant and motel for 5 years. Upon my husband's passing, I relocated to southern Maine where my three sons are. I have three grandchildren and one great grandson.

Good conversation, humor , creativity, family gatherings, good food, theatre, holidays, travel and too many more things to mention here.

People who lie, northern Maine winters, 'mud season', black flies, people who are chronically late, lima beans and okra, my slow dial-up service, heavy traffic, fog and neglected children.

I play keyboards, do oil paintings, read, do scrapbooking, long walks, love the beach, and I do quilts for babies at our local hospital.
