(watched it since I was a child, came on Walt Disney movies at 7 P.M., we'd curl up in blankets on the floor, never made it too the end. I was scared of the flying monkey's. My 5 year old grandaughter watched it for the 1st time and she thought the monkey's were cute. LOL!)
GONE WITH THE WIND
(when I was a school patrol guard at the crosswalk when I was an 8th grader, they took us to see this movie at the theater, I've liked it every since)
I've been off of here for awhile. My mom will be 96 this month and she's been in and out of the hospital the last couple months.
My daughter will be visiting me for 6 days in a couple of weeks, she's coming from out west. Will be the 1st time I've seen my grandson, who's 4 now and my grandaughter who's a year and a half in person. My grandaughter that's 7, saw her when she was one and two. My daughter introduced me to the webcam and we do video calls, so now I'm computer grandma, besides the grandma from Ohio. LOL!
I have one other grandaughter that's 5, that I see every 3 weeks when she comes and visits her daddy.
ABOUT ME
I was a nursing assistant for years at a local hospital, last floor I worked on was a Cardiac Unit.
I have been married 10 years. My husband is a truck driver.
I have a daughter 39 that lives out west, she's given me 2 beautiful grandaughers 7 and 18 month old, plus a handsome grandson 4 years old. A son 36 that's given me another beautiful grandaughter, 5. He lives here, so I get to see her all the time. Plus I have a bunch of grandchildren by my husband's sons. They live in North Dakota, so we don't get to see much of them.
WHAT I LIKE
I knit, off and on, made blankets for all my grandchidren. Than I read in spurts, check them out at the library. Have a little flower garden I maintain under my dining room window.
