I like the old movies like: Gone With The Wind, African Queen, The Quiet Man, Ghost and Mrs. Muir, The Sound Of Music, The King & I & Father Goose. I, also, like funny movies that make me laugh.
MUSIC
I like gospel music and I like instrumentals especially with the guitar or piano. I like other types of music as well.
BOOKS
I don't read books much these days, except the Bible and I read our local newspaper & some magazines.
MY FAVORITE COLOR
My favorite colors are red, purple, royal blue along with no-color colors of black and gray, especially in clothing.
MY FAVORITE FOOD
I like everything! Some favorites would be Mexican food, roast beef (with potatoes, carrots and onion), chicken fried steak and gravy (don't eat this often), all fruits, vegetables and ice cream (fat free & sugar free, of course).
Oh yes, a good hamburger (with tortilla chips, raw veggies and iced tea) is a meal that I really enjoy. And I, also, love crunchy peanut butter. :-)
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:11

I am a Christian who loves the Lord, my husband, family, church family, friends and my country.

WHAT I LIKE

WHAT I DON'T LIKE
I don't like dishonesty, profanity, lying, pornography, scary movies, stress, or having to rush to do anything.
HOBBIES
I really enjoy the computer and learning new things to do with it. I find that to be lots of fun. I like scrapbooking, even though I am not doing it as much now as I did.
I have sewn a lot, but haven't made clothing in several years. Some of my biggest projects were wedding dresses & veils for both of our daughters (plus attendants dresses) and a lined sportcoat for my husband. I have no plans to do any of those things again. :-) I, also, did lots of sewing for our grandchildren when they were younger.
My husband and I enjoy geocaching, which is a type of treasure hunt using a GPS. Our caching names are Lobo & Silverfox.
What a beautiful Page. I haven't even started on mine yet. I don't know where the time goes but it just zips by. We are celebrating our 58th anniversary tomorrow with a trip to St. Louis with our son and his family. We will eat and shop... eat and shop.... Have a great weekend!
The Great Pumpkin having come and gone, Golden leaves now cover the lawn. We've already seen a frost or two And Summer fare's been replaced by stew.
The shops are displaying only Christmas things. Thanksgiving break now homeward brings Pilgrims returning from schools far away, Grandchildren and parents arriving to stay.
As we bow our heads and carve our meet We need to remember those out on the street, With no festive table or cozy chair, No feelings of thanks - only despair.
For thanks we can give to others instead The gifts of the season: good food, warm bed. Let your light so shine before men That Thanksgiving returns again and again.
And as we sit down to the Thanksgiving table Let us all pray that we may be able To help spread throughout the land The love that is spread by a true helping hand. -author unknown-
