Welcome to my page. My name is Somee (pronounced sew me).I share my home with a reluctantly retired sheep herding border collie and a cat in the throes of an identity crisis. (He believes he is a dog and we just don't have the heart to tell him the truth). I have one grown son who is the most compassionate, loving and wickedly funny person I have ever met. I believe in kindness, equality for all people and that laughter is possible in even the darkest of moments.

I am shy by nature but I enjoy people immensely. Given the chance, I am a good friend and fiercely loyal. I am the youngest in the family, the only girl and, having grown up with six older brothers, I am an utter failure in the "girlie girl" arena. I have never successfully painted my nails and I couldn't walk in a pair of stilettos to save my life. (I still buy them mind you) I live in converse sneakers, jeans and Chanel perfume.

I paint, draw and sketch. Anything and everything and I have a camera practically fused to my hand. I believe life should come with a soundtrack just like in the movies.
