An Affair to Remember, Jane Eyre [the one with George C. Scott and Susannah York], recently - The Bucket List, Sex and the City [the movie]. So many good ones .. let me see ... The Door in the Floor, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, A Rumor of Angels, 50 First Dates, The first Matrix, Brokeback Mountain, Cold Mountain, Rob Roy, Music Box, The Big Easy, Chicago, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Sound track from Les Miserables ... Il Divo, Chris Daughtry, Reba McEntire, Blue Rodeo, old rock 'n roll from the 50's & 60's, Leahy and Natalie McMaster. A lot of the new stuff, too. I have grandchildren - they teach me a lot!

Oh, my, do I have enough room here! I love so many authors .... Books ...hmmm.. anything by Rosamunde Pilcher, John Grisham, Nora Roberts [also writing as J.D. Robb], the "Spencer" books by Robert B. Parker. I loved the Claudia and David books by Rose Franken. Just recently read "Eat,Pray,Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert - wow ... great book. Love "The Blue Castle" by L.M. Montgomery ... how about Frank McCourt's books .. "Angela's Ashes", "'Tis", "Teacher Man" - all superb.

My husband, Bob and I own a small motel in central Ontario, in the beautiful Kawarthas. Summer is a really busy time for us. We meet a lot of wonderful people, though, and have lots to talk about! We've been married for 20 years, so we're a blended family - Bob has a son and a daughter and I have 3 daughters. Between them all, they have given us 12 granddaughters and one great grandson!

Reading, scrapbooking all my beautiful grandchildren, baking, sewing, gardening [when I have time-my poor gardens!] and keeping in touch with all my friends.
