Gone With the Wind, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, Major League, Turner and Hooch and all the oldies from the 40s, 50s and 60s. John Wayne is one of my all time favorite people so anything he starred in I pretty well like.

Country, rock, gospel, jazz, classical almost anything except acid rock or any kind of rap.

Anything by Nora Roberts or J.D. Robb, Patricia Cornwell, Carlton Smith, Elizabeth Lowell, Sandra Brown, Dorothy Gilman, Jane Austen, John Grisham and a host of other authors. I like books that end right. I read for entertainment and do not want the bad guy to get away, nor do I want to be left hanging at the end wondering what happened after the book ended. I sometimes read children's books or go back and read books I read years ago.

Yellow because it is so cheery! And peach or coral because they make me feel good and any shade of green.

It would be easier for me to tell you what I don't like. But high on my like list is watermelon, cataloupe, dumplings (the kind we make here in the south, not yankee dumplings)but I love the noodles made in the north, fried chicken, my potato salad, coconut cream pie, chocolate pie and egg custard pie. I pretty much like all food and am willing to try almost any food others eat. I do not like anchovies and prefer not to have the head of the squirrel in the pot with squirrel and dumplings (that is a family joke due to me having visited someone who made dumplings for me out of squirrel instead of chicken and she put the head in the pot!)

My family is important to me. There isn't anything I wouldn't give them or do for them. My oldest son has been diabetic since he was six and he is now 47 and still doing very well though he had a heart attack when he was 36. My youngest son had a double lung transplant three years ago. How do people live through those kinds of times who do not know the Lord? I love to have fun but my warped sense of humor sometimes gets me into trouble when others do not see things as funny as I do.

My husband, getting together with friends, reading, sewing, spending time with family, genealogy, handwork, playing the piano, visiting flea markets and antique stores, shopping, cooking and pretty much just being alive.

Rude people or people who believe they were made from a little finer grade of clay than the rest of the world. People who care only about themselves and inconsiderate people make me steam.
