the oldies from the 40's such as Jackie Gleason, Glen Miller, and string music that is relaxing such as David Rose, but when I want to jive it up, I like 'Disco'

I love a good steak (filet mignon or N.Y. strip), mashed potatoes and almost any vegetable, shrimp cocktail or Scampi, my home made vegetable soup, where everything goes in it, except meat, vanilla ice cream because I can add anything to it such as chocolat syrup, fresh strawberries, blueberries etc and a nice glass of wine with my Sunday dinner.

I have belonged to Facebook for some time now. It is fun to correspond with all my grandkids all over the U.S and even one that lives in Puerto Rico. Contrary to people thinking it is not a safe site, it is safe. If someone you don't know asks to be your 'friend', you simply hit the decline button. Strangers cannot get into your Facebook account, only the people you invite in.

I am a mother of 2 surviving children, a grandmother of 10 and a great-grandmother of 4. I am a sensitive person,a cancer survivor, the few friends I make are my friends forever, I live alone but I am not lonely because I have plenty that keeps me busy, such as puttering in my little garden, doing counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, reading, watching TV,making friends on the Hill, "talking" to my grandchildren on Facebook, meeting people while walking along the canal and writing my novels on my computer. I am now on my 3rd book. The second one is not yet published. All 3 books take place at the Jersey shore during the 40's and 50's, using the same charactors.

the ocean, walking along the canal, shopping with my daughters,recieving pictures of my grand kids in my e-mails and going to Applebees to eat.I enjoy being outdoors when the weather permits, especially in the spring and fall. Last but not least...FOOTBALL..high school, collage and the pros. Love to watch them play especially when played in the SNOW....or rain.

Aggresive drivers are on the top of the list, phony bloneys, cold weather, politicians that don't keep their word, some TV commercials,(there are some that are funny, especially during the Super Bowl) foul language, liars and kids that don't respect others, especially their elders.
