Walt Disney movies, Adventure, Who Dunnit movies and the old movies on TCM

the oldies from the 40's such as Glen Miller, and string music that is relaxing such as David Rose, but when I want to jive it up, I like 'Disco'

John Grisham, John Kellerman, James Patterson, Mary Higgens Clark, Sidney Sheldon, Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown, Patricia Cornwell and of course the oldie, Hemmingway

I love a good steak (filet mignon or N.Y. strip), mashed potatoes and almost any vegetable, shrimp cocktail or Scampi, my home made vegetable soup, where everything goes in it, except meat, vanilla ice cream because I can add anything to it such as chocolat syrup, fresh strawberries, blueberries etc and a nice glass of wine with my Sunday dinner.

I have such exciting news. I found a long lost girlfriend from my teen years that I haven't seen in over 50 years. I found her through the internet. We finally met and even though we look different now, when she laughed I could still see the young girl in her that I remembered. It was fun to talk and laugh over silly but innocent things we did as young girls in the 40's such as hiding in the rocks of the jetty to try our hand at smoking, coughing our brains out and then eating sen-sens to get rid of the smell. We plan to meet again for another "Remember When" get together.

I am a mother of 2 surviving children, a grandmother of 10 and a great-grandmother of 4. I am a sensitive person,a cancer survivor, the few friends I make are my friends forever, I live alone but I am not lonely because I have plenty that keeps me busy, such as counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, reading, watching TV,making friends on the Hill, meeting people while walking along the canal and writing my novels on my computer. I am now on my 3rd book. The second one is not yet published. All 3 books take place at the Jersey shore during the 40's and 50's, using the same charactors.

the ocean, walking along the canal, shopping with my daughters, recieving pictures of my grand kids in my e-mails and going to Applebees to eat.I enjoy being outdoors when the weather permits, especially in the spring and fall. Last but not least...FOOTBALL especially when played in the SNOW....or rain.

Aggresive drivers are on the top of the list, phony bloneys, cold weather, politicians that don't keep their word, some TV commercials,(there are some that are funny, especially during the Super Bowl) foul language, liars and kids that don't respect others, especially their elders.

reading, knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch and writing stories. (Check out my blog)
