I was born & raised (of German ancestry) in southeastern Wisconsin in a city along the
shores of Lake Michigan.
My husband Al & I have been married for 46 yrs.... We are true soulmates!
When our children were in school I became a CNA (certified nursing assistant) working part time for 11yrs. in a county nursing care center & 10 yrs. as a security officer in a Catholic
home for the aged.
We have 2 adult children .... a son & daughter,
2 furry little kids ...Migi, a 16 yr old abysinnian & KoKo a 2 yr old siamese.
9 grandbabies...... 6 boys & 3 girls, ages 18 to 9 yrs of age, 4 granddogs & 2 grandcats!
We moved to California to retire there mainly to get away from the very cold winters! We love our life here in CA & the scenery cannot be beat!
Al & I are tried & true Greenbay Packer fans!
We both paint with watercolor & other mediums, although watercolor seems to be our favorite!
My personal motto is "you are limited by your
imagination only"!
His is "paint what you love"!
We enter many art shows & we each have a
box of ribbons to show for it! Good thing
we do not depend on art sales for a living as
we would be "starving artists". But it keeps us
busy & off the streets so what more can
one ask for?
We have both attended workshops & studied under Joan Constable
