Blog Entry: 2012 Emom's Mountain News 06010 WELCOME HOME, DEAR HEARTS, WELCOME HOME Why would anybody in their right mind be up overnite, cleaning the kitchen floor? Rhetorical question but do ponder on it for a moment! Lolol Been a while since I've been on, I guess. Let me tell you about the Marv. We have known each other for years now. We have been engaged, dis-engaged. He's given me several cyber diamonds over time; also wanted them back. (I've refused naturally!) He picks on me, I do gotcha's on him. (Trust me, I am ahead in this game!) Well, the other day, when I was on FB, I decided to adopt him and make him one of my family. I think he bout broke his neck getting to the ‘yes' button and accepted. Then he sends me this nastygram... I am "NOT going to be in his will" Now, did I ask? I don't think so but that's ok. Paybacks are a bear with a sore paw! I WILL get even! Lol I've been doing ‘Suzy homemaker' things when I'm awake. Laundry, dishes, mopping. You guys know the drill. I HATE housework. Just give me a shovel and a bunch of plants and I am as happy as a freshwater clam! And guess what I ordered from Lowes? A wet dry shop vac...4 ½ gal tank. This will be great for cleaning up shredded paper towels, toilet paper, boxes of various and assorted sizes. The Moosefoot is going thru his second phase of chewing. Did you know that Lab's and/or mixes do not mature until they are about two years of age? Truth, so help me! If the person and the critter can survive those first two years, you will have the best partner in the world from then on. When I first moved to the mountains, I had a yellow lab. I think he ate eight remotes over time while I was at work. I even taped a damaged one back together and put tobasco sauce on it... I got home and he had eaten all of the outside of said remote... lololol I must be insane, but I do love them dogs... Great Pyrenees are so very similar... love them too. I did check on the two climbing Peace roses yesterday. Not very big yet but great shiny greens showing. Oh yeah, the Chocolate tree. We had such a bad spring that I was afraid it might not have survived. But there she is with new growth all over. Way to go, Choccy! What else... Cats and kittens... I have them running all over the place. Delilah, head of the cat pack, is great.. She nurses the kits when their mommas are out hunting... trust me I don't have mice/rats/or ground squirrels. Only problem with so many kittens here in the wild? Many do not survive. Guess that's it for now. Take care all of mine. Go in safety always. Remember if you have the right breed of dog, you will learn patience... or not! Lolol Many hugs, much love and lots of lafter every day... Meems
