Blog Entry: 2014*7*12 Saturday EMOM'S MOUNTAIN NEWS Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home... Get in here and grab some coffee or sumfin.  No feeding donuts or rolls to the ''pitiful'' looking critters who have their paws on your legs and them sad eyes looking at you... They are masters of applying the guilty concious complex... Trust me, I know! Have I mentioned "I HATE TIX?"  Well, let me tell you I do!  Nature lover that I might be, I really must learn to be more selective in my choices of associates and friends..Now, THERE is an understatement!  Somehow over the past two summers or so I have become the designated adoptor of any and all delinquent ticks here in the mountains! ( I ain't ever gonna go near D.C...that could be life threatening!)  Ticks have been planning this for a while because I feel they are too well organized!  I open the front door - I turn around and there is a tick crawling up my caftan... I sit on the love seat - Here's one on my arm..  Their favorite meeting spot is the back of both knees.  Can you say '' lumpy golf ball in reverse?"  and I don't golf.  I'm not even gonna go into the itches... sheesh!!! Ants seem to like my cooking... I have an army of lil black ants attacking the kitchen at the moment! Now, let me remind y'all of what a sweet lil ol' lady I am...in my better moments (would these lovely greens exagerate?) Oh yeah.  Well, I rolled out the other day.. stagger to bathroom (TMI?) take care of stuff there... head for the kitchen.. COFFEE!!!  I get to the split at the end of the hall way... Holy chit!  Now what!?! I have had an over nite hit/attack by the 'paper towel brigade'!!!  (Have I mentioned I hate dogs????)  lololol  Do y'all have any idea how far a new roll of paper towels will go when shredded???? Don't even ask!  lolol I got so tickled tho... Kinda goes with the territory when you have a house full of young'uns... two legged or four legged ... don't matter which or both...  Let's see now,  I need a bush-hog, a back-hoe and a dozer!  Them's just for starters... Guess that's it for the moment... Take care all of mine; go in safety always.  Remember that being a ''tree hugger'' type is the best way to but but  IT does have its hazards... lolol Many hugs and much love... remember to get the giggles once in a while... meems the TerMOMinator
