Blog Entry: 2014*8*11 MONDAY EMOM'S MOUNTAIN NEWS WELCOME HOME, DEAR HEARTS, WELCOME HOME..Come on, get your buns in here and dry off. I've had 3.2" of rain here on my Lady Mountain..Windy, and serious downpours! Now, down to business... Have I not had a bad year..have I not fought the good fight and come out even or better??? Now, I know I've been distracted, but there's some of mine out there I can't take my eyes off for two minutes before THEY get into trouble! Firstly, I am talking about my rotten Canadian/Aussie Arthur! Not even two minutes, and he ge gets sick! I just find out about this a couple of days ago. Maybe he thinks I'm gonna' be nice since he is under the weather...WRONG! hE TELL'S ME HE HAS 90% TO GO YET! I'm telling you, Arthur, you best be getting your 90% in gear and get outta' the bed. Diane, honey, (Arthur's much better half) if he gives you any trouble, just let me know. You, Diane, still have some "nice" on my ledger... HE does not! Tell hime to be forewarned cause his ''nice'' allotment ran out last year! So there! Well, sometimes, I feel like I need a keeper...as in zoo! Been attacked by the herds or ticks again. This time, I was nailed by a lone star variety. Does this mean no more hamburgers for me???? Sheesh.. Anyway, I'm taking two pink allergy pills at bedtime and then crash. So far, so good. Just trying to fend off another instance of cellulitis... talk about your itching. Had phone problems today... cannot call out... but others can call me. Got an email from the Marv (A true friend?) asking who I've offended this time. Does the brat know me or what?!? Then had a short power outage because of the storms, I guess. Critters are under my feet... and puddles are standing on the sloping land! Seems like I am at the right altitude for the storm clouds to be crawling on the ground out there. Anna has tried to correct my attitude about the storms and lightning up here... Not supposed to picket at StormGod Central when I don't like what's going on outside. Sheesh! can you imagine me stopping when I am on the rampage? I don't think so! Now, let me see what else is going on. Oh, my new tv came in! lolol G'cutter took the old big set out and hooked up the new one! Came back here to the office and almost fainted... I didn't know a 32" set was/is that big. That was last Thursday..I'm getting the hang of it now... and I have satellite so I need to use two remotes. Am I making any sense at all.??? And am I "hot stuff'' or what? I ordered a pair of inexpensive earrings and they finally arrived. lolol Earrings are glittery red hot peppers!!! lolol Guess that's it for now. Take care all of mine;go in safety always.
