Mother of 3 sons, one daughter(deceased at 23),proud grandmother of 4 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 2 precious great-granddaughters; born and raised in Colorado, married and raised family in Oklahoma. Worked as a food clerk at only grocery store in town for about seven years. Enjoy staying home most of the time keeping busy with crafts, sewing, flowers, etc. I've been a contributing food editor for the Taste of Home magazine since it first began which has been lots of fun. I enjoy writing poetry and songs for my own pleasure and used to sing quite a few in church.

My grandkids, family, my church, my Lord and Saviour, Colorado mountains.

Dishonesty, arrogance, headaches, sleepless nights, gophers (they are a pain!),unrelenting wind.

Computers, crocheting, sewing, counted count stitch,
growing flowers, reading, crossword puzzles (Easy), jigsaw puzzles,
cooking, collecting recipes, crafts.??? I also collect anything with strawberries and just recently started a collection of crosses, small nativity scenes and ceramic lighted churches - as if I needed more "stuff"!
