Below is a alternative player from Dizzler.com in case there's a problem with other Playlists. ;)

Disturbed lyrics at dizzler.com

I just finished reading "A Very Long Engagement" by Sebastien Japrisot and I absolutely loved it. One of the best books I've read in a long while!

Some other recent reads:
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
- Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
- Ride the Rising Wind by Barbara Kingscote
- The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

A few other authors I've enjoyed would include Nora Roberts, Belva Plain, Rosamunde Pilcher
and Maeve Binchy.

I love blue, especially periwinkle blue.
Some of my favorite blue things, besides blue skies of course, would be blueberries (so healthy for you), Bluejays, and Walter's blue eyes.

I love to cook and love a variety of foods. I especially enjoy special holiday type meals with family.

My very favorite meal is always 'leftovers' since I can enjoy them all over again without having to lift a finger to prepare them!

Help end world hunger

I pray the coming year will be as wonderful as this past one.

I love life, my hubby, my family, my daughter and our son-in-law and wonderful grandkids and, of course, my furbabies.

I'm retired, not as young as I used to be but considering the alternative, I'll settle for getting older any day!

I love spending time with our family, our daughter and grandkids. Our granddaughter is 14 and our grandson is 12. They are our pride and joy - bright, beautiful, loving and very busy enjoying life to the fullest.

I enjoy a good book or movie, although we rarely go to a movie theatre anymore. I prefer to copy my own movies to DVD's.

Hubby is the hockey fan here, so we attend all the local league games during the fall and winter months.

For years we were RVers but we travel more simply now.

I'm an Internet addict and belong to several message boards and looking forward to meeting more interesting people on this forum!

We currently have 5 critters and I don't really know how that happened. LOL! Our two cats are Walter Mitty, a Birman and Bentley, a Tonkinese -both nine years old. The two poms, Sparky and Little Rascal, are litter mates and eight years old. Lastly, Bosker aka "The Boss", is our new chocolate labrador retriever puppy. He was born May 28, 2008 and is growing quickly into the sweetest member of the family. We hold fond memories of our Buddy, Molly, Happy, Maggie and others who await us all at Rainbow Bridge.

I enjoy gardening but have scaled back over the years. My favorite plant is the rose, especially Hybrid Teas.

I hate talking about myself. Ho hum! Reading about others is so much more interesting!

Any kind of child or animal abuse makes me ill.

I hate dishonest or phoney people. I also dislike whiners, who are usually people that have never really known true challenges in their lives.

I enjoy geneology and recorded our family tree using Legacy software. This has been a major but fascinating project.

I am currently converting family VHS tapes to DVD and collecting and scanning old family pictures to preserve them.

Tinkering with graphics is always fun when I can grab a minute.

I still enjoy gardening, but not on the same scale as I once did.

I have a fair size collection of Dickens Village pieces (D56) and have collected Hallmark Christmas Keepsake ornaments for the family since they were first created.

Reading a good book, watching an uplifting movie, taking a hike or even a shorter walk all still are fun.

Hubby and I have been married for 45 years and we use to do a lot of RVing and camping. We still love the outdoors.
