My Friends, I'm going to have to take a rather long sabbatical from all of you here at NOTH. My grandma Kelly ( who raised me) is very ill and I'm the only grandchild who is willing to go to her in Alabama to take care of her. It has come as such a shock to learn of the invading cancer of my beloved brother Brian. He is one of those wonderful people that is full of fun, he is never gloomy or negative and has the most wonderful sence of humor. I am really struggling with his prognosis, but he is ever the optomist, and continues to enjoy every day the lord sends his way. Happy Birthday Little Brother Fifty-six years ago today my brother was born. I was four. My mother said I came running into the room and jumped up on the bed and demanded to know where my baby ''bruver'' was. It broke her heart to have to tell me that he was in heaven. He was born with one lung collapsed and the other one filled with fluids, so that he only lived on this earth two short days.Mom could have no other kids, so I grew up alone. I was the only girl of 5. Middle child. Would have loved a sister, too to share in the fun and wonderful times we had as children. I recently had the awful experience of losing my eldest beloved brother suddenly at Christmas last year. However the memories I have of growing up are priceless.
