We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

Saying 'Thanks' On A Bad Day!
Posted On 10/25/2020 15:11:21 by yourchoice
We've just celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving... and I even wrote a blog about it. It has been a busy time in our household... birthday celebrations, a bit of travel, thanksgiving with some of the family and missing the rest, plus the daily activities that hopefully keep us out of trouble. October 22/20 didn't seem to fit in those categories. It has been said that "life is the sum total of all experiences...", and for me, it was a 'dousie'! I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry, but it happe... Read More

I'm still finding boxes of 'stuff' that I've forgotten that I still have. I have to admit that I have  been distracted quite often, when started to sift through a discovered box. When the family tells me that I never throw anything out, I think they are right at least part of the time. One box was very heavy... no wonder it hasn't been moved in years. Well, here comes a ‘deluge’... Read More

C - Collecting Champion Cards

A couple of weeks ago, we dropped by the Annual Book Fair in our city. It’s a great place to find an elusive book that one has been look for, or spot an interesting title we have never heard of. I spotted a small book entitled “There Is A God: 1001 Heartwarming (and Hilarious Reasons to Believe”. I opened a random page and what I read brought back a lesson that I learned years ago. Our son had just graduated from high school and he decided to move away from home. It was fine with us becaus... Read More
