Fishing: My Relaxation
Posted On 06/12/2012 09:03:51 by kozzak
Fishing: My Relaxation Fishing is an excellent way to pass time. I enjoy inshore saltwater Gulfcoastal fishing the best. I can labor at things more constructive so I pass on going after the mammoth fish of the deep. Inshore fishing on the Gulf of Mexico is always a fun endeavor for me. I enjoy every aspect of it. I particularly enjoy early mornings when it is quiet, j... Read More

ON THE LAKE
Posted On 09/20/2011 09:41:37 by Swanlady
IN AUGUST I WAS IN THE SUNROOM ABOUT SEVEN IN THE MORNING. AS I LOOKED OUT AT THE LAKE AND THE FIELD NEXT TO US, THE 2 GROUNDHOGS THAT LIVE IN THE BANK CAME ACROSS THE FIELD TOWARD THE HOUSE. I was nearly twelve when I got my own room.  It was large, in a large old rock-sided house called the "old Smith house".  The house had been built in the early 1940s (I had found letters dating back to that time telling about the house being built).&nb... Read More

good-bye

Good bye   I was six when my world came crashing down. Mama was taking us from Michigan to Arizona on a trip by the bus. Charles was five and Jeanne only three and I was a grown up of six.  I knew Mama was leaving Daddy.  “Mama isn’t Daddy coming with us? Mama looked at me with eyes full of  worry and tiredness and wrapped her arms around me then with a single word quietly said, “No”  “It is your fault Daddy doesn’t want to come with us” I yelled at her. &...
