Too Late For Father's Day
Posted On 06/17/2012 12:58:49 by Roselynn
Father’s Day June 17, 2012 I missed many opportunities to tell my dad just how much I really loved him. He has now been gone for nearly eight years. I cannot pick up the phone to call him, write him a letter or drive over to see him. There were times that I could have done all of these things and I refused too. I once blamed him for my lack of contact with him, but now that I am older, and I hope wiser, I know that the blame falls on me and my pride. He was my Dad and I loved him very much. H... It's Not Father's Day Here

Good-Bye Michael Jackson
Posted On 07/07/2009 23:28:54 by Roselynn
I watched the Michael Jackson funeral today. it was a beautiful service and not quiet what I had expected. I cried even though I was never a big fan. I cried for the children that are going to have to grow up without the only parent they really know. I also cried thinking about how the press is going to try to destroy these kids by ripping their father to pieces. I say let the dead rest. These kids are going to have it rough enough...leave them alone. But they will not. I lost all respect for... Read More

The Trivia of Life - Nonverbal Communication
Posted On 01/25/2009 14:29:10 by DiamondDust
Mother shooed us out the door at the hour she had determined would be most expedient. It was a fine afternoon in late March when father and I left the house to and walked the short distance to the County Court House. We were each going to take the required written test for a driver's license. I completed Drivers' Education the summer before and had been driving with a learner's permit and an adult since then so I was only required to take the written test. father was doing his annual renewal and...
