BLOGS: A blog, simply put, is something you have written, or written about.

We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

My apologies for writing a blog so soon after the last one, but something happened at our place yesterday, and it is perfect for my next “M” blog. First a short preamble to my story. When hubby and I were travelling to the city a couple of weeks ago, he asked me an unusual question. He asked if I ever miss playing the piano, and wished we had another one. I said I didn’t think about it very often, and I had taken up with another keyboard it was a rare opportunity for me to play a piano now.... Read More

As much as I am enjoying the autumn colors as we are travelling, through the mountains, and near the ocean, I can't help but be reminded that winter will soon be here. Our decorations will change from pumpkins, colored leaves, and harvest grains to red cranberries, evergreen trees, and a jolly guy who goes by the name of Santa, when he works at the Mall. The month of December is probably the busiest month of the year, if you have family and business commitments. I am never sure which one I'm supposed to use...ever!!) Anyway, I digress. The gift I gave to myself was the gift of a cold!! YUC... Read More

A Teddy Bear Toss
Posted On 12/04/2013 21:21:19 by yourchoice
December has become the month of gift-giving in many of our communities, even for those who choose not to celebrate Christmas. Parties for children, visits to hospitals and other facilities, and food and gift drives for needy families. I thought I would share one such activity that has become a tradition in our city ... combining hockey and teddy bears. The teddy bears are shared with a number of charities who help distribute them, and the junior hockey players are busy this week, personally... Read More
