We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

Just One Kiss

What a day I have had.  It was a Monday for sure.  Then about mid-morning, my caregiver decided to go to the library.  That is within walking distance to my house so it would be a good walk for her and some quiet time for me.  Then I decided I would do some exercises to get that part of my day over with. I selected the bathroom since it has the most room and is close to everything I need to get to in a hurry.  Why I thought that I will never know.I had done three. ... Read More

Don’t Want To Be A Bother….?

How many times have you said that you didn't want to be a bother” to a friend, when you know they are going through an unusually busy or stressful time. You would like to do something to help, but then wondered what you could do that would be helpful. Even a phone call would interrupt their busy day, and that could just be annoying. I remember running into him a few years ago when he was working on divorce number 4. He said I had a sweet wiggle in my walk. I knew then he had... Read More

It makes no difference what your religious beliefs are. Whom ever you thank when circumstances require a miracle or when a miracle has been witnessed. Your miracle maker is the one you think of when you say, Oh My God.
I recently wrote about how busy I have been since our nation went on lock down. The phone calls asking if I am all right. The phone calls for my help with frightened children. I had a story telling hot line going. I would start a story and then leave it up to the fami... Read More

My Attitude Adjustment
Posted On 03/03/2013 11:47:08 by yourchoice
I'm as snug as a bug in a rug this morning as I watch the snow storm from my window. We had plans for today, but the weather announcements are strongly suggesting that unless we have an emergency, we should stay off the roads. Being that we are 'country folk', and to go anywhere we need to do a bit of travelling, we will heed the warning. This too will pass!

As I have been listening to music, reading email messages, knitting, and wandering around The Hill, I remembered a video from the Mo... Read More
