BLOGS: A blog, simply put, is something you have written, or written about.

We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

In my growing up years, I could never even dream of travelling through the Rocky Mountains to the west coast. My mother had a fear of narrow roads high up in the mountains, didn’t like crossing high bridges, and wouldn’t even consider a ride on an airplane. I believe that there were 12 pictures on a roll, which was then taken to town, to the drug store to be developed. She would carefully preserved each picture in the family... Read More

There are times when the most common of occurrences turns out to be the beginning of an unexpected delight. That was my experience last weekend, when we were visiting friends in our hometown, and attending the annual Show & Shine Vintage Car Rally. From my point of view, I can only kick a few tires before I’ve had enough. So, what else could we do for the afternoon?I’m sure it’s no surprise for those who have read my page, or know me through our correspondence, that the first thing tha... Read More
