Grandma had two crocks with lids. They were about three gallon containers. She used them constantly. She made buttermilk, sour pickles, churned butter, made sauerkraut. When a hog was killed and the sausage was made she cooked patties and packed them in the crock with hog grease. They kept all winter. A Berry Good Day

Well folks..

I took the day off yesterday!
Lazed around.
Took life slow.
Read a book or three and ignored all that needed to be done. So today the push is on!
Time is sliping away and there's so much to do.
We need to get things moving because starting next week....

We'll be making Jelly.

The Raspberries, Blackberries and Red and Black Currants are looking just about ready to pick.

I love fresh berries of any description!
