Posted On 10/19/2009 11:07:52 by Margaretmonteleone
I suppose I should preface this by telling you that we have a heating and cooling business: Today I received a phone call from a customer who we used to do work for.  The last time I talked to him was in 1999, at which time he irately called me and yelled into the phone "tell Nick to ______himself" and slammed the phone down.  He had called for service and when my husband got there he had left and had some yahoo there instead.  He had expected my husband to do the repair and send... Her left eyelid couldn't close,... Read More

Oh what a verbal maelstrom (a lot of hot air) has been released from Camp Obama in response to Gov Palin's reminder of Barack Obama's unsavory friends. Not just one or two, but a whole bunch of them. Many of us believe in the adage: you are judged by the company you keep. UNFAIR they cry! But as any parent knows, the company you keep shows what you believe in and does influence behavior. What we all should be protesting, is the biased reporting we are getting. What we all should be protesting, i... Read More

Got It Done!
Posted On 08/13/2008 11:22:57 by MissMae
Last week was spaying time for the little puppy that arrived at our gate this past April. It was hard to believe she was already about six months old. But there it was facing us--separation time. Since she's a nervous traveler, she didn't do well on the trip in. Poor little thing was so sad looking in her taxi and we hated leaving her. We were told to pick her up next day.Well, that didn't work, because someone didn't understand the orders! They fed her (which she didn't argue against, I'm sure)... Read More
