We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

Surprise! I Have Something To Say!
Posted On 10/08/2018 23:09:51 by yourchoice
Once again, I’ve been a bit absent from The Hill. It seems that I have been getting distracted by some annoying personal requirements that needed more of my attention. At one time, I thought that there would be much more leisure time when we officially retired, but that has proved to be incorrect. Well, perhaps there was the occasional exception! It was the summer of our first year of training when I met Joe, a friend of my next door classmate’s boyfriend. He telephoned me several times, but a date s... Read More

Home is the Nurses’ Residence
Posted On 02/26/2015 23:06:22 by yourchoice
Growing up on a farm without a brother or a sister, entertaining myself with my dog and my horse, it still was a very lonely childhood for me. I had more friends when we moved to the city, but the best experience for me was moving into the Nurses’ Residence. There were 91 girls in my class, and we lived together, worked together, and partied together, and when needed, there was always a shoulder to cry on. It didn’t take very long for us newbies to develop a real ‘sisterhood’.We ate...
