I'm going to get your attention, I hope.
If you're using SmileyCentral, Zwinky, PimpMyProfile, or any of the dozens of FunWebProducts crapware programs, you're going to harm your computer - and you're going to pay - sometime, somehow for installing it. If you know how to repair computers, format, re-install Windows, great! Then all it will cost you is a lot of time and frustration - when you wake up some morning and your computer won't boot. At least you'll know what to do.
If you don't know how to repair computers, or how to format and reinstall Windows then FunWebProducts is going to cost you money as well as time and frustration.
I don't care how powerful your computer is, if you leave FunWebProducts crapware on your computer, your computer will get slower and slower and more frustrating to use - until it gets to a point where you can't use it anymore.
It's hard to avoid FunWebProducts. Just guessing here, but it seems they've registered perhaps a thousand domain names - so you will never know (unless you read the EULA, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy) if the gizmo or glitter you're thinking of using or installing is FunWebProducts or not. So if nothing else, beware and read the TOS, EULA, Privacy Policy if you're not sure. If you've already infected yourself with FunWebProducts, I tell you now, get it off your computer using a good anti-spyware program because using Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs won't do the job.
We recommend Spyware Doctor. And you can run a free scan by clicking here. But, I'll be upfront and honest (something FunWebProducts doesn't understand) and tell you that you'll have to buy a subscription to Spyware Doctor in order to remove all the junk it finds. But, aren't your time and your computer worth $19.95? Mine is.
If you really don't want to spend any money (and maybe your reluctance to spend money is why you're infected with FunWebProducts to begin with - or maybe you just don't have any money to spend) you can run Housecall and remove all the FunWebProuducts crapware free. If you want to go this route, feel free to do so. You can run Housecall's free online scan by going to this page.
I'm writing this as private citizen and not as co-owner of Cloudeight. So, you can toss those ideas of envy and jealousy you might have just because we happen to offer a program called "Smileycons" which does the same thing as SmileyCentral, only without ruining your computer or install 15 or 16 programs that infest your computer with gobs and gobs of system clogging registry entries, changes to System Restore files and other nefarious stuff - that, I, at least don't want to have done to my computer. But it's your computer and you can clog it up and ruin it if you want.
You might think I'm going off the deep-end a bit here, but I'm going to show you an example of the dishonesty, trickery and chicanery that FunWebProducts uses to induce you to install their crapware on your computer.
These are actual screenshots of what happens if you click any of the PimpMySpace ads you see anywhere on the 'Net.

Notice the URL in the address bar? This is misleading. It appears to be a site run my MySpace.com to assist users with MySpace. Do you see it? The domain myspacesupportfree.com is owned by the parent company of FunWebProducts. False advertising, violates a registered trademark (MySpace) and misleads users into thinking this is a MySpace support site. It's not. It's just another one of FunWebProducts' domains used to obfuscate the real company behind this junk.
And do you see the "crush alert"? Willard is a town about 30 minutes from me. Apparently FunWebProducts IP address script isn't very good and couldn't pinpoint my actual location, but they did come close. Whether you click OK or the "X" does not matter - you will taken to the next page. And, by-the-way, do you really think anyone in Willard has a crush on me? I don't even know anyone in Willard - nor do I want to.

Do you notice now (I clicked the X in the preceding page to close the CRUSH ALERT, but was redirected to this page anyway) that the domain in the address bar is now LUVCRUSH.COM? Indeed, another domain owned by FunWebProducts and another misleading advertisement.
When I tried to close this page I got a warning that I'm about to navigate away from this page...but notice if I click "Cancel" I'm going to find out who my "CRUSH" is (and remember I don't know anyone in Willard and no one anywhere has a crush on me and no one in Willard even has a computer I don't think :-)). If I click OK though, I'm going to stay on the page I am on. I can't close this page, unless I close my browser or click ALT F4 three times to close all open windows and the browser.
Can you imagine any company using these tricks in the real world to try to get you to use something that would harm your TV, car, or appliances? How long to do you think a company in the "real" world would get away with this kind of devious and false advertising? Not very long. The corporate officers would be arrested, hauled into court and heavily fined - if not jailed.
But the Internet isn't the real world and FunWebProducts operates like Billy The Kid and John Dillinger did in their lawless eras. I'm not proposing an Internet police force here, but I do think that companies like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, and others who run network advertising ban false and misleading advertising like this.
Money talks though and FunWebProducts has made hundreds of millions of dollars by tricking folks into installing its crapware and using these poor peoples' computers as billboards and FunWebProducts search bots. To add insult to injury, they use millions of the dollars they made by duping not-so-savvy users to by advertising to dupe more people into installing their garbage.
The only way this will ever stop is if advertising networks like Google, Yahoo, Doubleclick, MSN Network and the others, insist on honesty and integrity in advertising. If honesty and integrity were the rule for advertising on the Web, FunWebProducts would be bankrupt just like their company's morals.
