Our Christmas Miracle
Posted On 11/29/2011 15:17:50 by babygirl51

My sister married her husband forty eight and four months ago. She told him when they got married she wanted fifty years with him and he agreed. As alot of you know we just lost our Mother one month ago today. Last Wednesday he wasn't feeling well. He said he felt like he had the flu and a stomach virus. My sister told me if he didn't get better by the week-end she was going to have to find him a doctor. All his doctors are in Florida. They had been taking care of our Mom and moved in with her. I took care of Mom when he found out he had cancer two years ago and he had to have chemo and radiation in Florida. My sister had to call 911 Saturday morning. When the rescue squad came they lost him for eleven seconds. He made it to the hospital and they gave him a temporary pacemaker due to heart failure. Yesterday he had the permanent one put in. With all the prayers from the In The Hands Of God group I am happy to say they just might get their fifty years...

Thank You Rita, your strength and faith is an inspiration to us all, you surely had the invisible hand of your guardian angle guide and hold you through this most difficult journey. Thank you for taking the time to keep all your friends in mind sharing your family, good or sad,  with us all. I will add my prayers to the many that your Sister and Brother in Law will get their 50 and beyond, with all the many prayers - they will - how can they not?

They're only words, but good words. I hope they can help.

Your Pain Is ..
by - Kahlil Gibran

Your pain is the breaking of the shell

that encloses your understanding.

Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that it’s

heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.

And could you keep your heart in wonder

at the daily miracles of your life, your pain

would not seem less wondrous than your joy;

And you would accept the seasons of your

heart, even as you have always accepted

the seasons that pass over your fields.

And you would watch with serenity

through the winters of your grief.

Much of your pain is self-chosen.

It is the bitter potion by which the

physician within you heals your sick self.

Therefore trust the physician, and drink

his remedy in silence and tranquility:

For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided

by the tender hand of the Unseen,

And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips,

has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter

has moistened with His own sacred tears.
