Hi all. Here are 2 stories I read in our local newspaper this week.
1. A group of young school children raised over $2,000 to buy the police department Kevler vests for the K-9 unit dogs. They chose what they wanted to do, set it up and worked very hard. These kids will go a long way in life, When so many kids are causing trouble and don't care about anything but themselves.. these are great kids who saw a need and decided to do something about it. 5 thumbs up for these kids.
2. Some idiot so-called mother left her baby strapped in a car seat. She was high on marijuana and left this baby on the hood of her car. She drove home and noticed the baby gone. Somebody saw the baby and carseat fall in the street, rescued it and called 911. The baby was fine. I, and many others I am sure, hope this moran has no more children at home or anywhere else. What could have happened to that baby makes me... I don't know. Mad? Super angry? Good thing I am not a judge. Penny
