We chose this grapic not only for the important message but, also, because the little dog looks like out Chihuahua, Pepper Dog.

I was up very early this morning so I could send out Comments and found our ISP wasn't working. We were having problems with it late yesterday afternoon. It didn't start waorking until this afternoon. That's the longest we've been without service.

We both took it rather easy today; tired from the last few days. Have all of the kitchen window in; just need to paint. The inside of the back door needs a little more work before the fram work can go up and be painted. We're going to waith until both are finished before we paint them.

Papa is hoping to have our new counter tops, back slash and sink in by Monday. Then he can lay the cushion flooring and the kitchen will be all done!

We got a call from Slumberlad this morning saying the electric recliner was repaired and will be delivered tomorrow morning...early. We had it for 2 months and the motor was out of it! We thought it was in the swith but it was in the motor. Same thing with our new computer; thought the sound card was bad but it was the mother board! Says a lot for brand new, doesn't it?

I put some roast beef and veggies in the slow cooker this morning and set it on low for 10 hours. It was done in about 7 hours. I'm finding that everything we have new works a lot faster than the old models. It's just getting use to it now!

Papa's out playing "ball" with Pepper Dog. I'm not going out; too hot. We just got back from shopping and that was enough for me. We found the ground beef marked down to $2.86; they had been charging $3.85 so that's a bit of a savings. We usually buy it in a 10 lb. roll and seperate before putting it in the freezer. This was easier and paid the same price per pound.

Well, I need to "kick back" for awhile before dinner and watch the news and maybe even get a short nap in.

Take care, everyone!

Much Love, Junie & Papa Allen

Thank you, Barb. I've never had a problem with MSN until I started paying Micro-soft to keep it with the butterfly. My daughter-in-law, in Georgia, has also had the same problems.

We'll be right in the middle of something, just like this, and they will shut down. I'm wondering if they need to do some major renovations because they have so many custumers.

My ISP also had a problem yesterday and I never discovered the cause of it. When I finally got them on the phone, there was an answerphone message that they all had to evacuate the building and would be back asap.  Good luck with your renovations, and your new computer which shouldn't have a faulty motherboard so early in its life.
Barb.
