tantrum photo: Tantrum ththtantrum5.gif   One of my old sayings that I like is "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Comes in handy for lots of things. Today I have directed it at Photobucket. Did they really think it needed fixing? I have been comfortable with it for quite a long time. I pay a yearly fee to use the sight and now it has me sitting here wondering if I'll ever get the hang of it. Number one it is very slow. I can figure out some of the changes but for instance I cannot find how to delete or move photo's. It used to be so easy...it was available right under the photo..Seriously???. I have pressed all the available buttons and came across bulk deleting and moving but I just want to move 1 or 2...which don't really seem bulky to me. It is a pretty site but that doesn't make it easier to understand. Perhaps it is just me. At my age I don't like to spend a lot of time searching around...Plus I noticed some references to Facebook and Twitter and some other social clubs to get in touch with your friends...I don't belong to those clubs..I just want to enhance my bulletins and comments on NOTH. Well, that's my story and I guess I'm stuck with it. Have a nice week-end and good-luck with Photobucket.    Alice

Amazing how many folks don't like it. Not that PB cares.   Luv, Alice

I agree Alice.  I can't figure out how to save the pics to my libraries.  Guess I'm dense!

It's just that it takes a little longer to figure it out....an old saying of mine...when in doubt scream then start over again.    Alice

I had used PB for years and had a paid account. With so much trouble with it I cancelled my paid account and seldom go there. Oh, I lost all my videos I had stored there, too. I also lost them on another site that went down.

Their upgrades are a disaster!

I am with you on this about Photobucket.  I have a paid account thee also and am having all kinds of problems with it.  I hate the new one as I can not do the things with it that I did the old one.  I have sent them several complaints about it but that is as far as it goes.

How frustrating. I spent the whole afternoon working on Photobucket and got a few hints from friends and finally figured out how to move or delete pics, but it isn't as simple as before. Regardless....I just don't like it. I think they are getting a lot of complaints and are very rude not to respond to complaints....almost like they think they're the only photoshop around...there are others but I always found them comofortable to work with....used to.   Have a great Sunday.   Luv, Alice

The same here... I wish that on Noth one could just post photos direct from our photo files on our computers.  OR even copy and paste a photo like you can on the Forms. but to put one in your profile you have to use HMLT code.

I had oodles of photos in photobucket and I cant even get to them any more as I am not on a high speed connection at least even thought it took a bit of time on dial up I could still get into my photos on photobucket.. but I can not do that any more wiith the new.

I hope that this may help, Alice ... I use the new Photobucket with several accounts, and I have been thinking that there are some convenient changes in the new version. I am also using Windows 7.

Here are two suggestions when you want to move or delete a file. If you are looking at the Library with the small thumbnails of your files, move your pointer to the top right corner of the thumbnail, and a "gear" will appear. When you click on the gear, you will see the option to move or to delete that file. If a specific graphic is open to the full size, click on Options (above the graphic and to the right), the same options are in a dropdown list.

If you have any further questions, send me a personal message and I will try to help if I can.

Mona

I can relate to your problems with PhotoBucket, Alice. I can no longer put my pictures into my Smileycons folders from PBucket, but I have found another site which supports Smileycons. I am using PBucket a lot less since it made the change. I think it is parroting windows 7 bringing libraries into it, I don't like those in windows 7 either, I was far happier with my old XP and my old PhotoBucket.

windows xp photo: Windows XP windows_xp.pngMy alltime favorite and also the older Photobucket. I like your style... :-)....I have smilicons on the pc and my laptop but cannot use the ones on my laptop ....go figure...Luv, Alice

I use Photobucket, but not very often.  You are not the only one complaining about it; you are in some pretty good company!  LOL
