In Memory of Faron Dale

It has been one year and 12 days ago since our son, Faron took his life. We miss him so very much. Faron Dale, may you be resting in peace.

 
If Tears Could Build A Stairway
 
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say "Goodbye".
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.

My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you -
No one can ever know.

But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times
life still has much in store.

So sorry you have had to ebdure what many of us have. It is heart-wrenching. My youngest son took his life 2 years and 3 months ago. It's better but we never get get over the loss; just learn to go on and live with it.

Thelma and papa,  there are no words that I can say here about what my heart feels for you both.  I knew you had said before you lost your son that way but did not know it had only been a year ago.  You have done remarkable well.  You bring interesting stories and joy into the lives of others thru your blogs.  May the Lord continue to help you bare your burden of sorrow.  you are loved.. Thank you so much for your love and comments. We had a horrible time with condolances and people meaning so well. We do try to always keep busy and not dwell on Faron's death. That seems to be one of the keys to living now. Thanks again.
