Posted On 01/24/2015 12:01:14 by classylind

My name is Linda Noel i am a African American This Blog is about what i did on Martin Luther Kings Birthday This is a tradition in my house hold. Every year my children and grand children sits around our breakfast table and discuss about Martin Luther King and other African Americans i find this date to inform my children of the past and what it means to be black in America . Most of what i talk to my children about is not discussed in the School System and since i am the older head of my household i am here to teach them where we came from and the challenges our fore fathers had to face to get where we are now. I told my children things are better now i showed my 10 year old grand Daughter my blog i had posted on Martin Luther Kings Birthday. Someone ruined it and it was deleted why i don't know. I am not the one that ruined it so why was it deleted. I just spotted your blog, Linda.  I would just like to say that I think it's wonderful that you, your children and grandchildren have a special tradition that you all acknowledge every year together.  It would be nice if more families could get together (in this way) to acknowledge a special occasion or tradition.  I'm glad you enjoyed the day!
