Changing Monitors

UPDATE: CAN'T FIND THE PICTURE!

Am I the only one who 'changes' my computer equipment around?   Actually, I had just answered a Poll question about the size of my 'monitor'--then realized I had to change my answer!

A few months ago, I put aside my larger monitors--21 & 23 inches--and started using my laptop with it's 15 inch monitor.  The main reason I did that was that I had put my cd/radio/tape player onto the desk, which left no room for 'extras'. I really didn't mind using a smaller screen; it worked just fine.

But yesterday, I decided to clean off my desk; I actually wanted to use the cd/radio in another room. That left plenty of space.  So I plugged in my largest monitor and am using it now. Actually, the 'color' isn't exactly the same; & to be honest, I think it's "better" on the laptop! But that's ok.

PS--I don't usually have both screens showing--so will probably change that later.

I used to have a full office, when I had my home-based graphic design company. I needed desk space for equipment (printer, scanner, book binder, paper holders for a wide variety of paper. This was all before there was Internet, and all the fancy tools we have now.

I have retired but still find lots to do on my computer. My office has diminished greatly, especially since I learned the reason our smaller computers are called laptops. I have an air pad the size of my 15" laptop, that sits on my lap, while sitting in my LazyBoy chair with my feet up. I have a lap desk beside me (if I need to do some writing), and a basket with various computer stuff on the floor beside my chair. After years of being in my office that was attached to our house, and my husband relaxing in the house in the evening, we now are in the same room each evening, both with blue tooth headsets... he watches sports with the volume as loud as he likes, and my headset gives me music while I read my books on my computer, or work with photos that I have scanned from albums, to give family history in photos to our family. Computers have been my passion ever since I got my first computer in 1983. They are useful and lots of fun... particularly when they work!!!!!
